Rebulimo Rides (“Rebulimo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Rebulimo Rides mobile applications and related services (the “Service”).1) Information We CollectA. Information you provide• Account & Profile: name, email, phone number, password (encrypted), profile photo (optional).• Driver Information (if you use a driver app/account): driver license/ID, vehicle details, required verification documents (as applicable).• Support & Communications: messages, requests, and feedback you send to us.B. Location data- We collect precise location data to provide ride-sharing features.
- For drivers, we collect location data to match drivers with riders, support pickup and drop-off operations, calculate ETA, provide navigation and route guidance, display live trip progress, and support safety-related features.
- If a driver enables background location access, the app may collect driver location while the app is not in active use, including when the app is minimized or running in the background, during driver availability or an active trip. This is used to keep trip status, live tracking, ETA accuracy, pickup coordination, route guidance, and safety features functioning correctly.
- Background location access is optional. If a driver does not allow background location, the app can still function while it is open, but live tracking and trip updates may pause when the app is minimized, inactive, or not in use.
- We may share relevant driver location data with riders, our dispatching/operations systems, and service providers only as necessary to provide the ride service and related safety/support features.
- Drivers can control location permissions at any time in device settings. If location access is disabled, some ride-related features may not function properly.

Trip and usage data• Ride Details: pickup/drop-off locations, trip route, timestamps, fare estimates, ride history, cancellations.• App Usage & Diagnostics: app interactions, crash logs, performance data, and basic diagnostics.D. Device and network information• Device Data: device model, OS version, language, app version, time zone.• Network Data: IP address and approximate location derived from IP (for security and fraud prevention).E. Payment informationIf you pay through the Service, payment may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Delete Customer Account:
Customers who register on the Rebulimo Customer portal can request permanent deletion of their account. Please note that deleting an account will also permanently remove all historical records associated with that customer.
